What we saw when we arrived at the parade, for me, was unprecedented. If I was to compare it to something, I would say that it is a cross between the John Martin Christmas Pageant and the Big Day Out, with a touch of the Mardi Gra thrown in. It was a rather strange blend of people, over a million individuals, all in Berlin for one of the Worlds biggest parties.
